Ingredients
2-3 lbs chicken breast or thigh
1 lemon
¼ cup dijon mustard
2 tbsp Mrs. Dash lemon pepper seasoning
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp cayenne powder
vegetable oil
flour
Instructions
1) Butterfly the chicken to speed up frying time
2) Massage a thin layer or garlic & mustard onto all cuts of chicken
3) Sprinkle dry seasoning onto chicken
4) On medium, heat up a ½ inch deep of vegetable oil
5) Season your flour with 1 tsp of black pepper, salt, & cayenne powder
6) Lightly set 2-3 cutlets of chicken onto the bed of flour flipping only once without disturbing or dirtying the rest of the flour
7) Set chicken into heated oil
8) Flip once when the sides turn golden brown
9) Repeat (*if oil begins to turn black or smell bad, pour into a mug & heat up a fresh batch of oil)
